Here I am in Castle Coop on the last night of the old year waiting for the fireworks to go off outside. I should like to wish you a very Happy New Year and I hope that 2014 brings you lots of happy times!
I have been deciding which resolutions I should choose to make this New Year’s Eve. I absolutely love making resolutions and have a lot of fun choosing them each year.
Here are my main two for 2014:
1. To ace the cycle ride to Paris in September.
2. To make the most of all the happy times that I hope will come our way in 2014.
I have another one in which the words ‘not /lazy / so / quite / & be’ feature.
Do you make resolutions for New Year too?
Yours with resolve,
From personal experience, I can confirm Digby has never tolerated anyone intruding upon his laziness. Luckily for him, he has a partner in crime in this regard a certain furry friend named Wooster.
Best wishes for the New Year to you and yours!
Billy looks forward to hearing your reports on the cycling preparations!
Dear Emilio, I admire Digby enormously for his firm approach to life. Clearly Martha needs to have a lengthy chat with Wooster as she doesn’t offer me similar support. Does Billy know that I’ve been given a bike with simply MILLIONS of gears for Christmas? Happy New Year – hoping 2014 brings you lots of good things, lots of love, LLH xxx
So, I have quite resolved not to pay any regard to those rude enough to suggest I am overly inclined to being lazy. I shall stride my own path and be firm with those who try to dissuade me.
Have a fine New Year with the agent.
Thank you – & to you and yours. re your firm approach – quite right too!
